Office worker to Appliance Engineer – Mr Sharmanath

Mr Sharmanath worked for many years as a analyst at Neff but always had a desire to join his colleges in the field. He tried to gain training through Neff but kept coming up against dead ends until he came across The Whitegoods Training Academy at The Institute for White Goods Engineers.

After making his initial enquiries in 2013 Mr Sharmanath had soon booked himself onto one of the Appliance Repair Training Courses where he gained valuable knowledge an skills in testing and repairing washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves and fridge freezers.

Post Course- Since successfully completing the appliance repair training course, Mr Sharmanath honed the skills he had gained on our appliance repair training course on evenings and weekends with customers he started to advertise for. This allowed him to demonstrate competency and experience.

In 2015 an opportunity arose to work for Hoover Candy. He applied for the job as a field service engineer and was successful. Five years on Mr Sharmanath is still enjoying his position as field service engineer with Hoover Candy

We wish him continued success.
